Radio arrived very quickly. Looks ok but not much use without the CPS software to programmed the radio. I would give it five stars if Abbree had software to download for this radio.

radio arrived intact in terms, nice but it is impossible to program it via pc... you can not find dedicated cps program on the net and what is indicated does not work

radio arrivata integra nei termini, bella ma è impossibile programmarla via pc… non si riesce a reperire programma cps dedicato in rete e quanto indicato non funziona. peccato

In general the DM-F8 has a nice feel and great receive audio but the two major issues are. 1. The digital transmit audio is so low using dmr that most contacts are having to turn their volume up the max to be able to hear what you are saying. The down side of this is when in a group then everyone has to turn the volume down when the next person talks. There is no where this can be adjusted in settings not even using the CPS software. 2. CPS software is not easy to find anywhere, until I was sent a link to a Russian website the hosted CPS software for the Wanneton DP8800 that is another brand for this radio. I tried multiple times to contact ABBREE for support but they never reply. Analog tx audio reports are fine, but the reason I purchased the radio is for DMR it is a total waste of money. Don't waste your hard earned cash!

Cannot get the radio to connect to my computer, so testing it is impossible. ticket 20230907164951000456 Got a message that an answer is available for the ticket, but nowhere on the website is a place where you can find the ticket. The email stsing the ticket has no lik to it. For now, the radio is nothing more than a nice looking brick. No cablespecs provided, no software to be downloaded to make it work. As long as this is not resolved I would recommend to avoid this radio.
