heathkits get a standing wave ratio meter and tune the antenna. It may indeed produce 10w into the final, but a poor SWR can throw much of it away.
Q: What do you mean 12/24 hour display? Is it only military time?

heathkits It means it can be adjusted to give either 12hour time or 24 hour time.
