I needed a way of making small knives and keeping other shop tools sharp, I had several angle grinders and thought this was a good idea. Tbh it was, it removes stock fast, is easy to setup and fast to change belts. I did remove all the nuts and bolts and replaced them with hardened bolts and locking nuts. But this wasn't really needed as the frame is threaded and the nuts lock the bolts to it. Don't over tighten the bolts as it locks up the bearings.

This was a easyish surface mount kit, a lot easyer with low temp solder paste and a soldering station. After building I did not like the white sticker that is meant to spread the light though the digits cells, so I removed it, using the front plastic I filled the cells to 50% with hot glue. This works a lot better.

Q: Once the container is full of flyes, how can I empty it? If you open the container, all the catched flyes will fly out again, won't they?
