Q: I've bought 2 of these boards and neither one does the sbus work on. what am I doing wrong

nabla yes, you propably have a configuration error. Check the ports tab define Uart6 as serial RX and in config tab select serial-rx and then sbus. use the pad that says SBUS. I have had the same problem. was it uart6? i am not shure, but only one of them works as sbus!!

nabla yes, but here is my advice: dont ;) These are not very melt-proof. These are rather cheap. user 2206er 1800kv-is motors. Your motors seem very very powerful. Better use 45A+

nabla LBT is D16, you need to flash D8 on your sender if it does not have it (in the menux next to where you bind stuff). Search a yt video where someone flashes D8 on the same type of transmitter. If it exists -> proof(it does work), it if does not exist -> kind of proof that it does not work. Anyways I flashed beta flight 4.1 on it (which i recommend besides JESC 48khz!!!) and you can just select betwen D, X and LBT which is D8, D16-FCC and D16-LBT

Speedyreedy Lateanswer - but hopefully helps others. There's a setting in betaflight for arming angle. This needs to be set to 180 degrees or else the quad won't arm when it's upside down.

webternals Makesure that you have Soft Serial Turned on. I never could get this VTX to work with soft serial but others have been able to. I have changed to a much better VTX and I recommend you do the same. The output on this thing is horrible at best.
