Coops Yes. I suggest that the button near the on-off switch is actually the Trigger Lock. The spindle lock is almost certainly the black round button on the motor side of the silver guard, towards the front and near the depth adjustment lock.

BG112461337 if you mean the hammer impact action, then no. there is no way to turn on the impact action.

BG112461337 having used it now, there are couple of problems. 1) there is no guide or marks for drill stop collar setting. 2) the guide hole is 9mm but the supplied step drill bit is 9.5 mm. so the drill bit has been quite scratched during use. I cannot see if the drill hole guide is damaged or not. but it is pretty disappointing that the drill bit is bigger than the drill hole guide.
