Works great, would recommend for bulding battery packs! You don't need any extra parts except soldering iron, screwdriver, isolation tape. No expensive spot welder necessary! The only thing I missed was an explanation, so here it is: 1. Never shorten the battery by connecting the plus an minus ports with a screwdriver or else! 2. Disassemble the device by unscrewing plus and minus screws on the sides. 3. Measure the voltage of the battery, mine came with very low 0.4 volts! The lower the volts, the longer the charging. 4. Put the isolation tubes on both of the copper sticks an shrink them. 5. Solder the Buzzer to the left part of the board, the longer pin is plus. 6. Cut the pins on the backside, so they dont cut into the battery. 7. Install the black welding pin to the middle minus port of the board. Screw goes on the underside, nut on top. 8. Put some isolation tape on the backside of the board, just to make shure nothing can shorten the battery. 9. Assemble the board back to the battery without the plus cable, be careful to have it in the right polarity! 10. Charge the board via Micro USB (smartphone charger with 5V 1A recommended). 11. When the light turns green, it's fully charged. This can take 5-6 hours when the battery was low. 12. Watch for overheating as it charges, never leave the house! Especially when the battery was low! 13. When fully charged, disconnect the usb chord and assemble the plus cable to the plus port. 14. Now be careful that the welding pins dont touch anything! 15. Now the device will work. Click the button (and holf for 0.5 to 1 second) to switch through the modes: 1 beep - power level 1 /// 2 beeps - power level 2 /// 3 beeps - power level 3 /// long beep - OFF 16. You can now weld nickel strips to batteries and other metals. 17. When storing the device, make sure the pins dont touch. 18. Otimum storage voltage would be 3.7 volts, check once a month to not damage the battery. Case doesnt fit, but isnt needed!

Vivian1310 Yes it does! You only need a soldering iron, a screwdriver, some isolation tape and a usb charger (5V 1A). See my review for instructions on how to use.
