FuzzyCat Yes.The editor software version is currently 1.60.2

FuzzyCat This board has no Chinese characters on it at all and the demo screens loaded were all in English.

FuzzyCat This display does *not* have an ESP8266. Peter Scargill is building a carrier board so that you can mount an ESP8266 on the back of the display. Not allowed to add linkshere so just google "Nextion displays - making them look great"
