Q: Pardon my ignorance in this matter sir, but how would I connect this board to a phone sim slot or is that not possible? Sincerely grateful for your help! Jo

GVMoto As far as I am aware, you connect this module to other devices, which you want to connect to your phone. In my case it was a Flybarless Helicopter Stabilization System, that I wanted to program without using a USB Cable, because of the position of the module (hard to reach place). Normally it is used for Arduinos and other similar boards, that you want to connect to wirelessly. I hope my answer is relevant enough for your question. :)

GVMoto It will work great! You can also add GPS module and use the RTH function to return the plane when your RSSI drops low.

GVMoto You have to power it from a 5V source. VBAT pin can measure up to 6S (25V).
