Puposet It looks like an RE380 motor, which would have an unloaded speed of around 10000rpm. I haven't measured it but it sounds about right.

Puposet It comes in a cardboard box, no other case. Incidentally, even though it says 720p 2MP on the box, that I suspect only applies to the larger diameter one, mine (5.5mm) was definitely only VGA (640x480). It did the job though.

Puposet Not really, it's got a fixed focus at 5cm, so can only practically work up to about 8cm object distance. And despite the labelling, as far as I can see it only does 480 resolution.

Puposet The key dimension is the thickness of the bottom of the tool holder, which is 5mm. So the minimum height with a 6mm tool, with the dovetail screwed right to the bottom is 11mm above the cross slide .
