drobertson123 As far as I can see this product is NOT military grade and the seller should hope I am right. Military-grade in this technology mostly refers to a refresh rate of over 9Hz. This is why you will see most of these types of sensors listed with a strange Refresh Frequency less than 9Hz value in the specs. Military-grade sensors with refresh rates of greater than 9Hz are used in guidance systems for missiles. IF this is military-grade then this seller is illegally importing-exporting restricted military technology. This is very illegal and isn't taken lightly. Like FBI showing up and arresting you on national security charges not lightly. Lucky for the seller, the LEPTON 3.5 has a refresh rate of 8.7Hz and IS NOT military grade. If this is a legitimate LEPTON 3.5 (typically hard to get ahold of) it is a great sensor with many uses but not military-grade in any sense of the word.
