Kevin If you buy the EU-LBT version, and your transmitter supports EU-LBT then it will work. The D8-16 compatibility is when you buy the non-eu version

Kevin Yes, it is the newest version, you have to make a firmware update though

Q: if I purchase this can I mix and match the goggles, controller and drone with other equipment. for example if I buy another drone later on can I use this goggles and controller to fly a different drone? or is this equipment only good for this drone? sorry if this sounds like a stupid question this will be my first drone.

BG405683734 Yes,you can. The Radiomaster controler is often used by hobby pilots, and the goggles work just like any other goggles.
