Doctorzorro Currentis only limited to the power consumed by the motor. The mosfets in these are rated way higher than required for 500watt, each one can handle at least 50 A, there's two of 'm in this controller so max current would be a theoretical 100A cont. I know of no 24v DC motor in a bike or scooter that big. That's E-wizz territory. In my bike there's a 350 watt 24v dc motor that pulls at max throttle and full load around 30 Amps peak. Cruising speed is around 8-10A. Considering the rather small board inside with only moderate thickness wires, 500 Watt motors seem like the maximum for this controller. That would be around 40 Amps peak, which this little box will handle just fine. It does have a rudimentary brakeswitch in that it cuts power to the motor when it is operated independently of throttle position. It's not a regenerative system.

Doctorzorro It starts scanning at 70 mhz and goes to 108mhz, probably that's the campus radio function mentioned in the decription. Over here in europe it's useless so it takes a while before it reaches "our" fm band starting at 87 mhz. No big deal tho, scanning the frequencies is done once and then you select the station with the presetbuttons.

Doctorzorro When using with 12v powersource, 4 ohm is better because then it will go louder than with 8 ohm. When using 24v source the same is true, however then it will allready be very loud with 8ohms.
