little modification to fit the servo (turn rate is a bit slow) but it flys on 2s can't wait to for the 3s to arrive, worth the money all day long 😀 😄
Fitted to an ECX 1/10 Axe. ESC extension cable needed to run to receiver neatly. The ESC is heavier than the standard ESC, so I will be upgrading the rear shocks soon. The brushless motor's shaft is slightly shorter than stock, however you can install the pinion gear central enough. The steering servo comes with a red aluminum dual clamping arm, but this wasn't quite tall enough, so I stuck with the original plastic arm. The steering servo is slower than I was expecting, but still upto the job. The brushless motor is much faster than the stock brushed motor, it pops wheelies even more now! Running a 2s Lipo with this setup, motor doesnt seem to need heatsink, which is just as well because there's not much room to fit it. Wondered what the low voltage cut was for this ESC, I think it's 3.1v default(had a read through the program card manual, but this made me more confused), I ended up purchasing a separate voltage alarm just to be sure. The fan on the ESC isnt exactly quiet, but it's not too loud either. Really pleased with this package, the best £35 I've spent on this hobby so far. I especially like the brushless motor, it goes like stink!
