A good size of torch, comfortable in the hand. The spike at the back end easily unscrews leaving what looks like a tripod / camera mount thread. The hole is blank so water doesn't get in. The torch is supplied with a 3xAAA battery holder but I put in protected 18650's without a problem. The fit appears sloppy but once screwed together all was OK. The beam is use ably bright and the zoom is smooth and easy to adjust. The power button is on the side under the thumb and it does the usual 2 power levels plus strobe. The case has a DC socket in the side for charging, with a rubber bung to keep the water out. I have no idea what voltage is required to charge though. 5V is common for single lithium cells. The DC socket looks like a 3.5 x 1.2mm or very close. Overall a well made torch for the price.
