I really like that it always starts at the middle brightness. This is perfect for my grandmother, so she does not have to click a lot. Another advantage is that you just need standard AAA batteries. Buying a flash light with Li-ion is probably not a good idea for old people. Still, the flash light is very bright with batteries.
