I ordered two of these PNP style proximity sensors for use on a 3D printer project because of the very good price. Both received in good condition. I connected one of the sensors to a 12 volt power source and tested its sensitivity. It worked perfectly, triggering the on-board indicator light at exactly 4 mm. The output lead is at zero volts when the not triggered and rises to almost the same level as the power supply voltage when it is triggered (within about 1 volt of supply). The brown wire connects to the power supply, the blue wire is the "common" or ground and the black wire is the output. A good product at a very good price from Banggood.
