Good airplane, flies beautifully and the 'Reflex' Control System' is useful, even if you are not a beginner. Flaps are very effective and do help the model to fly slower and make shorter take-offs. All in all, a very nice model, spoiled only by wheels/tyres that are too hard. You have to land carefully or it will jump like a small kangaroo.

This is a very nice FMS Cub. It flies great and is very gentle. this is a good mid size airplane with light wing loading and good STOL abilities. On a calm day, no wind with full flaps at 2860 foot above sea level the tires leave the ground "measured" at 46 inches in the bone stock configuration using a 3300 4s 25c battery. Because of the flight controller the take off is very smooth with out dropping a wing or bobbing up and down. It just climes straight. As soon as it leaves the ground i raise the flaps for a very scale like STOL take-off. My flaps are set at 2.5 seconds delay to full close. If you do not remove the flaps immediately the plane will try to go vertical if you do not counter with elevator.
