Instructions are small; but you can figure out things intuitively. L = Left, R= Right, F = Forward, B = Back. Black = Battery (-), Red = Battery (+). Great time putting it together!!!

I was hoping they'd protect it even more. I don't know if it works because it'll be a gift, but they do consider sending it more protected, especially because it's electronic parts.
