The only backside is that it has 2 female connectors, so you need to but a male-male adapter or hack a bit. If it had a male and a female, you could just simply insert between the strip and the power supply. It is small, it comes with a small manual and a sticky tape.

Did a quick test upon arrival, it is working fine. There is a red led indicating presence of power.
