I bought a pair of the walkie talkies as a gift to my kids and it works fine. I haven't tested for the full range of the signal but it works great for the distances I tried about a kilometre.

Arrived this morning, well packaged and undamaged. Installing the battery on one of the radio's resulted in one of the plastic lugs snapping on the battery cover, which is very brittle plastic, something to look out for, and a warning for other users. However other than this small mishap, these radio transmitters are small, light, and work well, although I have not tested their range yet, as my wife was not keen to take part !! Very pleased and fully recommended at this very reasonable price.
