I'm not terribly impressed with the brightness of these strips... I purchased them to light the inside of a sandblasting cabinet. I'm glad I decided to try them out before I installed them. I can't I can't tell if they are on or off when competing with the overhead fluorescent lights. they may be good for an application where the led strip is directly visible, and you don't want to cause eye strain...
