I had no problem getting these radios to work with an Arduino. It's nice that they can send and receive. You have to be careful which pins on your Arduino are MOSI and MISO and SCK. I did a Google search and found the pinouts for my Arduino Pro Mini and for the radio. By the way, these modules have 10 pins. There are other modules with 8 pins so don't get confused. Also, the radio must be powered with 3.3 volts and NOT 5.0 volts! The data lines worked okay with my Arduino as long as the radio was powered with 3.3 volts.

I read a lot of articles before starting design with NRF24L01. A lot of people said the communication distance was not very good, they are wrong. The module allowed me to connect sensors all the way through my house, and in the garden. Brilliant product. I recommend it !
