As noted above, the values of the components are shown on the PC board. This means once a component is installed, you can no longer see the value it is supposed to be. I assembled mine in about two hours, observed the polarity of the components and connected it to a 24Vac supply. Nothing happened. The LED did not light, and the output measures only 0.63 vdc. As these is no paper documentation, I have no idea of how to trouble-shoot this item. The only items one can disconnect are the pots and to check the voltage at the fan connector. Pots are correct and the fan output is correct. None of the rectifiers are warm, and the LED does not light. Does anyone have any good ideas? Any help will be appreciated. As noted by others, a 115/24v 3A transformer required to power this item is rather expensive - Beware!! As of this writing, this project is not good. Can NOT recommend it!!

  • ricardomagagnin Same problem, when I removed the Q1 the output goes to 15V. I really do not know how to solve it.

  • Halmar I got 0.4VDC on output when I hooked mine up for testing the first time on a DC source. You have to use an AC transformer because there is a charge pump circuit to generate negative voltage for the Op-Amps.
