Arrmafan Sure does, this is the standard remote which comes with several ZD racing cars anyway.

Q: I can't use a 120a ESC on 2s with this?

Asked by BG814212333 on 2022-05-15 03:04:06

Arrmafan Yeah, you sure can but I'd recommend a 3s battery as a 2s wouldn't provide much performance in my opinion.

Q: Does anyone know if they are durable?

Asked by beejson on 2022-04-23 12:01:20

Arrmafan They should be fine up to 3s power. However, don't go bashing on them hard.

Q: is it come with binding cable?? in my box i not found it !!"

Asked by ranil78 on 2019-08-25 01:42:44

Arrmafan You don't need the bind cable, I just turned mine on and it was connected. Remember to set the end points when installing a new transmitter. Your ESC manual will show you how to do this.

Q: will the tires fit laegendary legend RC truck 1:10 scale?

Asked by BG339503251 on 2022-03-05 09:40:20

Arrmafan They should do, but these wheels may very well be bigger and heavier thereby putting the motor and servo under more stress. This will create more heat.

Q: hi will they fit maverick phantom xt?

Asked by BG123210835 on 2022-02-18 10:55:03

Arrmafan As stated, if it has 12mm hex fittings then technically yes. However, they are probably larger and heavier so you need to consider the extra best that will be created and more power needed to turn them and therefore shorter runtimes from the standard battery.

So I got this for Christmas 2020, and I was really excited to use it. Before using it though I had to adjust some of the toe in on the front wheel as it was not adjusted properly. Took about 5 minutes in total so no big deal. Next I went to charge the battery up, but no luck because the 3 cell lipo that came with it had a dead cell. Got in touch with customer service and they eventually refunded me the cost of the battery, I wasn't too worried because I was always going to use other batteries instead. Used it for the first time and overall I was quite impressed with its overall power and top speed. Had to adjust the camber for one of the rear wheels though as out of the box it was way off, but again no big deal as it took me 5 minutes. On the second run I went to drive up a gutter head on at a standing start but the car did a backflip and landed on the bonnet of the body shell. Unfortunately given how incredibly weak the shell is it cracked where it sits on the body posts. So I went inside and spent an hour with drywall tape and some flexible silicone to fix and strengthen it. Overall this is a great car but could do with some improvements; firstly the body shell needs to be a lot stronger as if you look at it the wrong way it will break, the diffs need to have thicker grease or oil in them as they are very "open" from the box and lastly the servo could do with an upgrade from 15kg to say 25kg (which I am yet to put in) as when you reverse the wheels wobble uncontrollably. I would definitely recommend using this off road only as the wheels wobble quite a bit on road and is a bit rough, it's just like driving my off road car with 37' Maxxis Trepadors to be honest 😂. This car represents good value but be prepared to make some modifications and upgrades.

Q: Is electrical parts waterproof? (esc and motor)

Asked by mtechs on 2021-09-04 04:51:13

Arrmafan I've used mine I'm the snow and when I say snow I mean the whole car, including the electrics were completely covered on the stuff and it was fine. However I wouldn't trust the ESC to be submerged, nor the motor. If you run it in the rain you'll be fine, just be sure to properly dry it when finished. On a side note, I sold my truck pretty quickly as it kept breaking quite easily as the plastic is made of glass. I would go for the JLB Cheetah instead which is almost indestructible compared to the Pirates Truck. I used my JLB Cheetah at a BMX track and it took a load of abuse before breaking some small and cheap parts.
