Unbeatable for the price! I deal with multiple 3d printers at work (Prusa I3 Mk3S, Ultimaker 3Extended, Velleman Vertex K8400) and have built/modified my own (Toyrep, Anet A8 with Prusa-pattern extruder/hotend), so suffice to say I have experience with good and bad printers! Plus points- Superior price/performance point. Well-developed reliable design. Flexible build plate for easy print removal. Negatives- Some skill required for both initial assembly, and optimum bed levelling. Some oozing due to Bowden type extruder design. Instructions a bit limited. I'd say this was perfect for someone with a little experience, looking to upgrade, perhaps not a total novice. It took me about an hour to assemble it, and required some adjustments to the rollers that were not detailed anywhere. Bed Levelling is also not a built-in function, you have to auto-home it, scroll through the menu to turn off the stepper motors, then move the head/bed around by hand and tweak the levelling knobs using a piece of paper as a feeler gauge. This is not intuitive, but I'm well used to doing it from other printers, so really not a problem for me. Follow a YouTube tutorial for that and you'll be fine! I'm not a huge fan of the extruder/hotend design, but perhaps I'm spoiled from using a genuine Prusa. The E3D hotend parts on that would probably cost nearly as much as the whole Ender3 so I'm most certainly not complaining! Overall I'm very impressed indeed. The print quality is great, much better than I would have expected at this price. Also having the "Power Panic" function is very reassuring, nothing worse than losing a 50hour print at 49 1/2hrs due to tripping over the extension lead....... In my opinion, if you've got a bit of technical know-how, you will not be disappointed.
