Websteria This is a big problem. I think quality control on these chips is bad. I got maybe 2 out of 10 that didn’t have a problem.

Websteria This is essential for troubleshooting. I can’t believe a kit company wouldn’t release a schematic for a kit?!! How are we supposed to learn from this circuit?

Websteria You may have a bad mcu or the blue shorted to something else on the led side. All the anodes are tied together so a short at one would appear on all. Also just confirm all your mcu pins are soldered well.

Websteria ledsales: did you check the battery voltages going to the clock chip. I’ve had lots of problems but that hasn’t been one unless the connection between the mpu and clock are connected. otherwise time can’t be set and doesn’t tick.
Q: 3rd digit is off, i need the schematic to find the track that control that digit. thanks.

Websteria Did you ever get this fixed? My first digit won’t turn on either. Everything else works. It seems to mirror some other digits but only on like 6-7. So weird. Checked every component. About to give up and hot air remove the mcu and respolder it. Pity. Beautiful clock for the rest of it.

Stefan With a 1% 10 kOhm thermistor, the reference temperature is 4 degrees Celsius below the clock. The software would then have to be changed.
