Placed below mesh screen in open hive bottom. On warm days the monitored hive temperature gets higher than needed for hive overwintering so I’m installing small DC thermostats to limit the maximum temperature.

One can never really judge a product by its picture but I thought it would be a nice Christmas’s present so I ordered and crossed my fingers. It arrived today and it exceeded my expectations by far. It’s plush, soft and beautifully made. Oh, there is an opening at the bottom so one can walk it they take tiny steps. One more thing. My friend is a small 42 y.o. woman who loves mermaids - and not a kid. It doesn’t feel like it’s a child’s product and will fit her fine.

The temperature reading shows 45 degrees Fahrenheit when at room temperature (68 degrees). I cannot trust TDS/EC if something as simple as temperature is wrong. Emailed Banggood with description of problem and photos of display. I got a response that it doesn’t measure temperature. I responded with a picture of the listing which said it does. I noticed someone else had the same problem. The price is good and it seems decently built but it is supposed to give reasonable readings.
