On the other hand, I use a Kreg drill that cuts better and is better finished (balanced). Let me explain, the one supplied with the kit when we drill does not go perfectly round. It is not visible to the eye but when piercing it is felt (perhaps that is why people complain of breakages). With the Kreg forest, I don't have this inconvenience and we feel the edge of the forest unlike that of the kit. You have to let the forest go down by itself and not push on it to avoid breaking the tip. The screws supplied with it will not be used as well as the nozzle because it is of poor quality. I prefer to use Kreg screws with the square end that holds the screw well. We can find cheap resellers, prices close to the equivalent Triton screws (23 euros per 500 for an example price). In the photos, it is the camera ordered but the forest is a Kreg, just like the screws. The maintenance of the wood is done well with the grasshopper which is quick to adjust. I was at the limit of the permissible thickness with a ribbon so 38 mm. I forced to engage the grasshopper, so it's the big max that he can take but I would say that it's better to have a smaller size because the effort made is substantial and there is a risk of getting a finger stuck (it's real experience, And it pinches hard, fortunately I was able to remove it quickly). I am therefore satisfied with this product except the screws, the tip and the forest. Par contre, j'utilise un foret Kreg qui coupe mieux et qui est mieux fini (équilibré). Je m'explique, celui fourni avec le kit lorsque nous perçons ne tourne pas parfaitement rond. Ce n'est pas visible à l'oeil mais en perçant cela se ressent (c'est peut-être pour cela que des personnes se plaignent de casses). Avec le forêt Kreg, je n'ai pas ce désagrément et on sent bien le tranchant du forêt contrairement à celui du kit. Il faut laisser le forêt descendre tout seul et non pousser dessus pour éviter de casser la pointe. Les vis fournies avec ne seront pas utilisées tout comme l'embout car c'est de la mauvaise qualité. Je préfère utiliser des vis Kreg avec l'embout carré qui maintient bien la vis. Nous pouvons trouver des revendeurs pas très chers, prix proches des vis Triton équivalentes (23 euros les 500 pour un exemple de prix). Sur les photos, c'est l'appareil commandé mais le forêt est un Kreg, tout comme les vis. Le maintien du bois se fait bien avec la sauterelle qui est rapide à régler. J'étais à la limite de l'épaisseur admissible avec une lambourde donc 38 mm. J'ai forcé pour enclencher la sauterelle, c'est donc le grand max qu'il peut prendre mais je dirais qu'il vaut mieux une taille inférieure car l'effort fourni est conséquent et il y a un risque de se coincer un doigt (c'est du vécu, et ça pince fort, heureusement j'ai pu l'enlever rapidement). Je suis donc satisfait de ce produit hormis les vis, l'embout et le forêt. Hello the product and good manufacture but there is a big problem!! on the right side of the piercing block it is missing the thread to be able to insert the clamping screw and if it is to have five screws and five pieces of plastic you can keep it will save you weight at delivery!! 👎👎

bonjour le produit et bonne manufacture mais il y a un gros soucis !! sur le côté droit du block de perssage il manque carrément le filetage pour pouvoir insérer la vis de serrage et si c'est pour avoir cinq vis et cinq morceaux de plastique vous pouvez les garder sa vous fera gagner du poids a la livraison !! 👎👎

The jig is pretty good quality, all fits well and seems pretty accurate. The drilled holes look very clean even without the plastic inserts that are used on the new variant of this tool so I am pretty happy. The plastic caps fit well but the included screws are complete rubbish and I threw them in the trash. They are not even self tapping so better get the proper pocket hole screws from your local hardware shop.
