I turned the black hat inside out so you can see the seam. It's barely there. The cotton/bamboo may have a small mix of another material to help retain the shape, not sure. Very soft and stretchy. Nice quality and each hat comes individually wrapped in a clear bag. Colors aren't quite as light as shown on the site. Great customer service.
