Pros: Contrary to my expectations, the package did not get stuck in customs nor did it arrive too late. So far best. The speed of the car is really off and the build quality seems solid. The new version with the 4200 kv engine no longer makes any cogging problems and the range of the spark is top. Cons: The car is not ready to run. The diffs have to be greased the track has to be adjusted and the diamonds have to be reshaped a bit so that they fit correctly. I had to turn the "jacks" of the rear wishbones because otherwise the toe-in rear is much too steep. Also, the included battery didn't fit properly in the holder. I had to drill the holes All in all, no problem for a hobbyist. If you don't want to screw it around, you could quickly become unhappy with it. For me personally, though, a good buy.

Awesome RC car. Well worth the long wait. Stupidly fast.... but then again, you can set the max speed via a speed pot on the remote controller. Look at the advice on quadifyrc.com to get the best from this car. Dampers were filled just fine when checked. Minimal grease in transfer boxes. For long life you need to apply grease to the drive gears in transfer boxes, and also pack the differentials with grease. Make sure all screws are tight because they will try to work loose when you thrash it. Front wheels needed toe-in adjusting as it was toe-d out too much. Aim for slight toe-in at rest. Front camber needed adjustment as the wheels were tilted out too much. Aim to adjust them to neutral camber at normal rest position. Rear wheels toed in quite a bit, but I left them as they were....for now. Fitted an alloy suspension upgrade and it looks great! I also bought a wltoys front bumper from a 124018 model and adapted it to fit this one as the front is rather exposed and you are going to needs some cusioning WHEN (not if) you crash it! Bit of "cogging" but not a great deal. More so on long grass. I aim to change the gearing by fitting a different pinion and motor mount which should eliminate cogging and give it super acceleration. It will reduce top speed, but tbh the original top speed is so outrageously fast it's not often you would need to use it anyway. Even though it's brushless and the battery life will be better because of this, it will still knock the shizzle out of a battery. My advice is to buy a spare battery (or even two!) to get the most fun out of this. Great machine WLtoys.... Not perfect, but it can be with a bit of work.
