Although the shipping was extremely slow the engine worked when plugged into the plane. Unfortunately It only lasted four days before two of the three metal cogs were lost during flight... These should not be able to come off at all. I ended up having to order another engine but this time a brushless motor to prevent this happening again. I recommend super gluing the cogs to the rod they are attached to at the top.

dj__jg Hi, what was your experience with converting the F949 to brushless? Thinking about doing this as well after my current engine set wears out.
