These BEC are excellent. Aluminium covered wrapped in heat sink. Input is 2-6 S so there are very good if u want to upgrade your quad to higher voltage in future. There is a yellow jumper by which you select out put 5/12V.Out put is accurate within mv region. They remain pretty cool also but I would suggest that u keep them exposed in air. But banggood should provide information about ...whether they are LINEAR or SWITCH mode but I didn't get any information about that. I use 2 of them 1 with 5v output to power my camera another to 12v to power vt and navigation LED.
