lovely results parting off on a boxford lathe. using the #3 inserts for stainless and steel. the 2mm inserts are sharp and can part off a shim 0.250mm thick with ease. for smallish lathes imo 2mm is the right width as cutting pressure is vert low. 3mm is ok. #1 #2 #3 are for this holder. highly recommend.
