The plastic case that they came in was smashed beyond repair but luckily the picks in it were undamaged. The rakes are of a good quality but do need a fine sand paper rub all around just to remove the edges off of them, they are very thin rakes but strong enough for use.. The double ended tension tool is chromed and solid, all I needed to do was put some heat-shrink on the middle section just to make it more comfortable for use. Great kit all round. And as for the broken case, I used an old glasses case that I had lying around which is more solid..
