Some minor deflection allowed by the metal, makes that in measuring the repeatibility is not 100% (to the announced 0.02mm), although suficiently for my needs. The fininsh is not nice, including some sharp edges that needed to be filed down.

Not very precise. Clock needs to be readjusted almost at every measurement.

Good Value. I need this to work in a explosive environment, and so can't use my usual Mitutoya digital vernier. Whilst this dial vernier is naturally not of the quality of the high cost Japanese instrument, it is very good value, has excellent accuracy (tested on calibrated test pipes), is very easy and quick to read, moves freely and smoothly and overall is good value at a very cheap price
