I have had a few portable soldering irons in the past made by other companies. But, ever since I received the TS100, I have put all those aside. The heating time is quick, and so is cooling. I got the conical tip along side the mini point and it works great with my soldering of flight controllers for my quadcopters. I can use it with either a LiPo battery in the field or a power block that I use for my laptop at home. The versatility of this unit is wonderful.
