Pen writes smoothly with some resistance from paper. The cap on mine is quite tight so takes a lot of force to remove. It comes with a converter which is nice. Overall good value for money.

It feels nice and sturdy, the refill mechanism looks OK, but the quill is quite scratchy, not super pleasant to write with right out of the box. Hopefully it will get better with time, as fountain pens often do.
