Does this have reverse polarity protection? If not, that may be why it died within 5 minutes of using it. I tested several batteries against a handheld DVOM and the accuracy was good. I have seen what looks like the same unit for a similar price with "Reverse Polarity Protection" listed as a feature. Maybe this one is just cheaper. If that's the case AVOID THIS PRODUCT.
