-The LCD looks nice, the viewing angles are very large except when viewed from the left side (the one with the SD card) -The case is well made, snaps shut and stays closed when handling, no need for the screws that were included in the package. -The sticky pad needs to be put in the corner opposite the LCD connector, to rest on the raspberry's ethernet connector. -When installing as described in the instructions, I had the touchscreen rotated (the display was horizontal/landscape but the mouse moved vertical/portrait). To fix this you have to run: sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-evdev sudo cp -rf /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/45-evdev.conf sudo reboot You can see it in the picture running OctoPrint with the TouchUI plugin.

The case for the Raspberry PI B+ form factor is versatile in its design. It s is made as 3 snap together sections that offer flexible outcomes. Because the back has places for screw heads, it could attach to a wall or similar face and the RBPI board attached to it later. The LCD included in this kit fits well when as an assembled (LCD RBPI) is placed on the back cover and next the border portion of the case snapped on top. The unit is compact and work well in the sample runs done with it. The included stylist worked acceptably well to navigate the RBPI via the LCD touch input. The third case piece if snapped on closes the RBPI board inside but the LCD would not have room to be simply attached at the same time. The case and LCD are versatile items for the RBPI. Also the LCD worked in the test of placing in on the RBPI-zero-W. The PI-zero is slower but can work with the image having the screen drivers.

The screen works great. The touch needs to be calibrated - haven't got to that point, but looks like everything will be perfect.

Picture quality according to the price (normal LCD). The touch-panel calibration quit sticky. Earlier somebody already proposed to set the SwapAxis to 0. For me it was the solution. Finally the display is usable, see the attached pictures

The build quality is pretty good, though the screen is quite heavy. Because of the GPIO interface, the screen is really slow (few FPS and a lot of tearing), so it is not suitable for gaming or watching a video. For other uses, it is decent for its price. I was able to get the screen working in RetroPie by using this guide: https://www.hackster.io/112938/kuman-tft-3-5-retropie-2018-a9b0c8 and with these /boot/config.txt settings: dtoverlay=tft35a,fps=30,rotate=270,swapxy=1,speed=24000000

First the package is in order, screen packed in bubble plastic and in a separate box. The screen is supplied with a stylus. However, the screen is not docked in the supplied housing. The screen lies therefore loose on top of the housing. Not really pretty. Another point is that there is no documentation at all. And no reference to which driver should be used. This is therefore a challenge to search the internet for driver. This is a serious disadvantage. I do not yet have the drivers and therefore have not been able to try the screen.
