If you are familiar with Luxo lights,, these are similar, but about 1/2 the size. That is the arms are about 1/2 the length of Luxo arms and the reflector is about 1/2 the size of a Luxo. Any but the smallest bulbs will stick out beyond the edge of the reflector. I did not pay attention to the specs so I was surprised. On the other hand they are easily adjustable so you can turn the bulb away from your eyes.
