I received the refund of the customs tax in 1 business day in a very simple way, of approximately 1.000,00 reais. As for the projector so far I'm liking it a lot, even in projections made directly on the wall presented a very good contrast in addition to having an excellent sound, I struggled a little in the installation until I was able to change the language to English, thanks to the guidance of the channel my tech world on YouTube, After that it was just fun.

Quanto ao projetor até o momento estou gostando muito, mesmo em projeções feitas direta na parede apresentou um contraste muito bom além de ter um som excelente, penei um pouco na instalação até conseguir mudar o idioma para inglês, graças a orientação do canal meu tech mundo no YouTube, depois disso foi só diversão.

I received the Formovie T1 from the CZ warehouse in Europe in less than a week, the shipping was great, no additionnal VAT expenses, and I got a good discount with a coupon from Internet. This projector is considered to be one of the best available as of february 2023, and can be had about 1000$ cheaper that the Formovie Theater (international version). Contrary to what some people say, it is totally usable in Europe and in the US: you can change the interface from Chinese to English in a few clicks by going in the menus (it can be a bit tough, but you can look on Youtub or on Mondoprojo website for explanations). The cable comes with a chinese wall-plug: best thing is not to buy a cable, but an adpator from chinese to your country. The projector is marvelous. I use it directly on my white wall in a dedicated room, with a 7.1 Atmos system connected to my STRDN1080 amp. It can project up to 150 inches in diagonal, which corresponds to a base of 330cm. Bigger than it cannot focus properly and the image is getting soft. On such a size, it is powerful enough to use with an ambient light, but of course it's more cinematographic to watch in the dark. For such a projection, it has to be set very close to the ground, (about 15cm above it or me), and at about 40cm from the wall. The image is then around 60cm/70cm above the ground. There is no "hot spot" effect, neither on the wall, nor on the ceiling (which is black): you don't need a screen in that regard, nor for the grain of the wall. The only real issue with projecting to a wall is that the unevenness of the wall can get quite obvious when there are straight horizontal lines to display (in menus, in video games). The light coming from the bottom, if the wall is not flat horizontally, horizontal lines get curved according to the shape of the wall. I use it with NVidia Shield because it's the best device that plays all video formats (and all their audio formats: AppleTV doesnt support DTS it's a pain).

Best Laser TV 2022. I choose the chinese version over the global one to safe around 500$ that i invested in a 100“ fengmi Screen. I only use HDMI Fire TV and Consoles. So it dont care about FengOS.

On the purchase process: I purchased on 18/10. It was shipped the next day. It was held at customs for taxes purpose on 1/11, for about 4 or 5 days, I payed immediatly. It was delivered at 09/11. I had to pay 1100BRL on taxes, the RFB "Tax Payment Invoice" was available at the correios tracking website. As I had payed the tax insurance fee (It was around 2200BRL at the time), I was reinbursed by bangood, after I send the RFB "Tax Payment Invoice", and the PIX print of the 1100BLR payment, about 5 days after I send the documentation regarding the payment of the taxes. On the product: The image is very bright at night, not nearly enough at daylight. I'm not using a UST ALR screen (Using a normal screen at the moment) but so far i expected more from the 2800 ANSI. You will need an external input device, Chromecast, Apple TV, Fire Stick...... As the projector itself is pretty much useless. The sound is great. The image not so much, there is a serious issue with the ton skins on ppl being very, very red. Maybe there is a way to fix that on the settings, but i still haven't been able to find a way to correct this issue. Dolby Vision is recognized instantly, as is Dolby Atmos using the eArc on a external sonos sound bar (The sonos is better than the build in sound, but still, the build in sound is exellent.

The on-board sound system is developed by a British company (bowers and Wilkins) paired with Dolby Atmos, sounds outstanding, I use to have a Samsun Q8 sound bar which was top of the range and number one to buy but the sound system in this projector out shins it by miles. it came in Chinese, but you can convert it to English (use a language converter on your mobile phone and scan for English in the settings). I have a mini pc connected to stream films and also an Xbox one, to play games with no lag, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good projector or as an alternative to a large TV. you do need to buy a short throw screen for best results, and I assure you it would be a good investment. the cost of the projector and screen would less than a brand name 70-inch TV, but this can go up to 150-inch screen. you won't be disappointed I guarantee.
