This meter has a big display. Much easier to see than some of the other dinky meters. If you need volt/current/power readings then this is the one to get. It's also very easy to modify to use a separate power supply so that it can measure down to zero volts - just remove the M7 polarity protection diode (labeled "D" on the PCB) and solder the new meter supply lead to the cathode pad. Then adjust the low volt alarm to zero volts per manual. Meter then requires min. +6.5 volts to run (won't run on 5v without further modification), but will measure down to zero volts. Pic shows meter measuring 0.21 volts.
