I bought this PCB to make soldering batteries and seen the derisory price I thought it was worth nothing, I had to change it, it works perfectly with both a LiPo 3s 11.5 Volt 50 C battery and the lead-acid battery of the machine. I was so satisfied that I decided to make it a PETG box to keep it well isolated and give it a nice look, the result as you can see is excellent, I recommend it especially to those who are familiar with the connections and those who want to try like me in the realization of a personalized enclusure.
This kit comes with everything needed to do light spot welding jobs on Lithium batteries. The welds were not as strong as I was hoping but they seem OK. I did grind a point onto the end of the welding probes as others had suggested. I did beef up the negative bus bar by flowing more solder onto it. I used an almost new 12v 40Ah Lead Acid Leisure Battery which is within the battery specification laid out by the manufacturer of this unit.
with extra solder on the bars and a half cut charge cable with XT90 it seems to over do. the sparks are flying around. I got holes in the 0.2 strips while burning the wood under it. It also seems to run continouisly after the big burning of the first attempt.
The module is working properly, welding the sheets 0.1 & 0.15 mm. I connected it to my power-bank Blitz-woolf 12000 mAh - after checking with the power supply stabilized.
Works well and works even better with a few minor modifications. I soldered a copper bus bar on to beef it up a bit, used 80cm of 10mm2 H07RN-F to connect to battery. Also sharpen the probes too
My order arrived neat and well packaged. I am yet to assemble it for use, but that would be after I buy 12v 30-45AH battery to complete my spot welding assembly. Thanks to Banggood for relatively timely delivery and step-by-step tracking info for that peace of mind. Your chosen courier service in Nigeria also deserve recognition for their professionalism
kablo uzunlukları biraz daha uzun olsa daha kullanışlı olurmuş. amatör işler kullanılabilir. benim 12 amper bir aküm var. belki ondan kaynaklı da olabilir.
First try was a PC power supply which provides 15A for 12V DC. This was not sufficient to generate strong welding spots. Next try was a used but fully charged lead acid car battery with 540A and 44 Ah in combination with 1 Farad capacitor, but even this power source was not really creating a nice welding spot. I tried all different device settings, but non was really satisfying. I may need to try another power source....
Delivered in less than 2 weeks. The device has not yet been used, quality, visual, no questions.
Good value, does do the job for making battery packs. Came in 15days from HK to the UK. Works a lot better if you use the thin nickle srip. Same thickness as to the strip supplied in the pack. I have set it op with a crock clip on the negative teminal in case i have to quickly removed the power. I wouls recommend using a 65ah car battery minimum 35ah to give you the proper power.
