The quality of the unit appears ok. Will see how good the unit is once it is fully programmed. It is worth purchasing the separate programming cable to go with this radio, if you do not have one already, as it is not included with the radio; you can use CHIRP to program this radio. A small manual was supplied with the radio, you can also view the soft-copy version on the Internet from the Baofeng website.
