The lamp is great. In operation with 18350 battery, like all models of the S43 series, an absolute EDC. I already have the S42 and the S43(XPG3), so I really wanted to have the new S43S with 4000 lumens(max). I have to say, the UI is excellent! I am thrilled that in the UI you can even adapt settings to your needs. *Two thumbs up for it * The only, but hardly worth mentioning, Wermutstropfen is, unfortunately still, the charging socket. Instead of the Micro USB port I would have found a USB-C socket better, because many manufacturers have switched to the new system. Well, I still have some micro USB cables. If not I order one here. 😅 The lamp is absolutely bright and you can see the brightness difference between the old version and the new quite clearly. To the 5000 Kelvin I still have to get used (I prefer otherwise cold light) but I have to admit, the color faithfulness of the strung objects is an eye feast. Absolute recommendation to buy. That's it. 👍

Die Lampe ist super. Im Betrieb mit 18350 Akku, wie alle Modelle der S43-Serie, ein absolutes EDC. Ich hätte bereits die S42 und die S43 (XPG3). Daher wollte ich unbedingt auch die neue S43S mit 4000 Lumen (max) haben. Ich muss sagen, das UI ist excellent! Ich bin begeistert, dass man im UI sogar selbst Einstellungen an seine Bedürfnisse anpassen kann. *Zwei Daumen hoch dafür * Der einzige, aber kaum erwähnenswert, Wermutstropfen ist, leider immer noch, die Ladebuchse. Anstelle des Micro USB Anschlusses hätte ich eine USB-C Buchse besser gefunden, da sehr viele Hersteller auf das neue System umgestellen und umgestellt haben. Naja, ich hab ja noch ein paar micro USB Kabel. Wenn nicht bestelle ich hier eins. 😅 Die Lampe ist absolut hell und man sieht den Helligkeitsunterschied zwischen der alten Version und der neuen ziemlich deutlich. An die 5000 Kelvin muss ich mich noch gewöhnen (ich bevorzuge sonst kaltes Licht) aber ich muss zugeben, die farbtreue der angestrahten Gegenstände ist ein Augenschmaus. Absolute Kaufempfehlung. Weiter so. 👍

Super lamp. Really bright and by the different usable battery types (18650 and 18350) really versatile. Can be well regulated in the brightness and has a very versatile control software, which is largely programmable by itself. I like the natural light color and the color fidelity. Top already bought some for my acquaintances.

Super Lampe. Wirklich hell und durch die unterschiedlich einsetzbaren Akkutypen (18650 und 18350) echt vielseitig. Lässt sich gut in der Helligkeit regeln und hat eine sehr vielseitige Steuerungssoftware, die weitestgehend selbst programmierbar ist. Ich mag die natürliche Lichtfarbe und die farbtreue. Top hab auch schon welche für meine Bekannten gekauft.

@Flashaholics: as you mentioned in your review, this flashlight has NarsilM 1.3, so it doesn't have muggle mode - I love Anduril, but NarsilM is too simple for me with too few functions. Bought the S43S with the Samsung LH351D emitters, but the beam profile is the worst I've ever seen - the original S43 with the Nichia emitters has a beautiful beam without artifacts, the S43S's beam looks like a ship's steering wheel, which is funky, but I can't get used to it. Still it's a nicely built flashlight, the copper heatsink makes it too heavy to be an EDC, but it's a quality light - well, apart from the beam profile with the Samsung emitters. (The tint and colour reproduction is awesome, just not the beam itself.)
