I bought this for testing car power amplifiers. I actually need 13.8V and sometimes 14.4V for that purpose. I am pleased that these settings are within the range of the trimmer It could go past 15V if required. The fan says it is temperature controlled but it ran as soon as I plugged it in though the room was at 19C or 66F. A little noisier than I expected but within reason. Note this is shipped set to 220V (as it should be for safety). In switching it to 110V for Canada the switch on the side was stiff and I bent it slightly. I had to pry it back into place. I am quite happy with it and it should do me well working from home developing car audio products for a manufacturer in Los Angeles. I was also pleased by the shipping time and good tracking information supplied by the vendor.
