This LED Strip bar is 'only' 6.5W & 612Lm, and not 9W & 1400 Lm like say in the features. At 12.25V the led bar consumes 530mA, so the actual power is approx. 6.5W. It has 12 sets of 3 LEDs in series (36 LEDs in total); each group consumed 530/12 = 44.2 mA. At this current, each '5630 LED' produces 17 lumens (in the best case scenario), and then 36 LEDs produces 612 lumens (36 led * 17 lm), and not 1400lm!!!. With the included plastic diffuser, the actual lumens are even lower than those calculated 612 lm.

The strip is well made and strong due to the extruded aluminium base the led's are mounted on, that gives a very stable and straight mounting with little sag. It is compact and neat giving a professional appearance at the same time the construction make it easy to dismantle should it be desired. It gives good diffused light and draws 600mA at 12volts.

Para 9w, dá uma luz brutal, é optima para iluminar cozinhas, arcadações, etc

Last year I paid at least five times as much for an inferior product from a leading UK store! I have just used one to convert a picture light which housed two 30 or 60 watt tubular incandescent bulbs which failed very frequenjtly. The result is very neat and the light output greater and more uniform. Highly recommended.

I evaluate here the warm white version. 9W is not correct. It is 0.45A x 12V = 5.4 W, measured with two independent multimeters. Accordingly, the light is also dark, I would settle it between a 25W and 40W bulb. So less suitable for lighting, more than decoration. Also the price is then only mediocre. The delivery from the CS warehouse was very fast.

Let me tell you all the things you'll need to make the most wonderful under cabinet lighting setup. You'll need these lights. This is optional but I would HIGHLY suggest you buy this as well. It's a dimmer for the LED lights. http://www.banggood.com/DC-12-24V-8A-Manual-Adjustable-LED-Dimmer-Switch-Control-For-Single-Color-LED-Strip-p-1033046.html?rmmds=search You'll need a power supply like this. http://www.banggood.com/IP65-AC-100V-264V-To-DC-12V-120W-Switching-Power-Supply-Driver-Adapter-p-1056765.html?rmmds=search And you'll need a power cord with the right plug for your country http://www.banggood.com/AC-Power-Supply-Adapter-Cord-Cable-Lead-3Prong-for-Laptop-p-930564.html?rmmds=search You'll need some wire. http://www.banggood.com/2pcs1pair-3M-18-Gauge-AWG-Silicone-Rubber-Wire-Cable-Red-Black-Flexible-p-980476.html?rmmds=search Here's some optional things you may want to buy. Wire stripper http://www.banggood.com/BOSI-0_8-2_6mm-Wire-Stripper-Steel-Crimper-BS446209-p-77129.html?rmmds=search Screwdriver (Hopefully you can find one, but of not, these are nice) http://www.banggood.com/4Pcs-Stainless-Steel-Hex-Screw-Driver-Kit-Screwdriver-Set-1_5mm2mm2_5mm3_0mm-p-1110251.html?rmmds=search You don't need this, but if you want to tin the ends of the wire a nice soldering iron is in order. http://www.banggood.com/Mustool-MT223-60W-Adjustable-Temperature-Electric-Soldering-Iron-with-5pcs-Solder-Tips-p-1077119.html?rmmds=search And a little solder http://www.banggood.com/250g-1mm-Tin-Lead-Rosin-Core-Flux-Solder-Soldering-Welding-Iron-Wire-Reel-p-1032139.html?rmmds=detail-top-buytogether-auto If you don't have wire nuts, you'll need them. http://www.banggood.com/70Pcs-Electrical-Wire-Twist-Nut-Connector-Terminals-Cap-Spring-Insert-Assortment-p-1036257.html?rmmds=search The power cord hooks up to the power supply. Black to negative, white to positive, green to the weird looking ground symbol. Two wires come out, black is once again negative, red is positive. This wire feeds to your dimmer. There is an in and out on the dimmer. From here you can go to one light, or two lights if you split the wire. You should be able to drive 3 lights with this setup. Use wire nuts on the connections. Red goes to red, black goes to black.
