Unfortunately, I won't have occasion to use this purchase until next year, but I will say that it appears to be great value for my money. My only concern - and it's a serious one - is that the fit of a US plug into the adapter seems very loose. The adapter itself fits snugly into a EU socket (I had one available), but there's considerable play when I push the US plug into the adapter. It doesn't seem to penetrate sufficiently deep to make or retain contact; the weight of any cord on the US item may cause a disconnect. But as I said, I won't be in the EU for another 10 months and will find out then whether or not I've purchased a useful item, or one that cannot perform as intended.
