Jar is from plastic,not from glass as some people says in questions and answers.Lid is from hard gum material,case is full plastic with metallic look.Motor and blade connections are from real metall ;) .Its really loud also not so for midnight time snacks or smooties if you have nervous neighborous :) .Tested with frozen peas with a little water and its smooth in about 90 seconds on pulse...
