This is proving to be a good replacement for my diode split charge system on my boat. As it’s a relay there is no voltage drop as with the diodes. This means that it’s supplying full charging voltage to the battery. I am also running my solar charger through it to keep both batteries charged but biased in favour of the engine battery so that is always ready for starting. Simple to fit but the earth lead is short and will likely need extension. Very pleased so far.
